Dr. Kirsten Hackenbroch

externe Habilitandin

Following my degree in Spatial Planning from the TU Dortmund University, I completed my PhD-research on the contestations and negotiations evolving around access to public space in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2012. In subsequent postdoctoral research I focused on power relations and the resulting spatialities of transformations at the urban fringe of South Asian cities. Since October 2013, I am a Lecturer and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Environmental Social Sciences and Geography.
